A man who had been happily married to his school sweetheart for over twenty years was beginning to have concerns about his wife and their relationship. For the past few months the man had been noticing that his wife was repeatedly absent for periods of time on weekends which was the time they usually spent together. When he tried to confront his partner on these unexplained absences she pretended not to know what he was talking about and became angry if he tried to find out more. After approaching his wife one last time with no result the client decided that something needed to be done and came to us at Reading Investigator.

The first thing that we needed to do for this case was to consult with the client on his relationship with his wife and any other changes that he had noticed in his partner before her odd behaviour. It was decided that the best way to proceed would be to use GPS tracking to find out if she was travelling in these absences or was visiting the same location each time. The GPS footage revealed that the individual was visiting the same location on every occasion though on some she left for several hours before returning to attend sites such as the local zoo. Surveillance was then set up to record her movements and actions whilst at the identified property owned by a young family.

Though the couple had been together since school they had taken a gap year when they hadn’t seen each other. It came about that the client’s wife had discovered she was pregnant and didn’t want the child but knew that her husband would and kept it secret. The child was given up for adoption but had recently come to find his parents.
