A telephone call was taken by Private Detective in Reading from a worried wife. She has been married for what she thought was five happy years. However two weeks ago she had been meeting with a friend in a coffee shop when she was interrupted by a girl she had never met informing her that she had been sleeping with her husband for the last year and it was about time she knew about it. After she said this she left the shop and our client had no way of contacting her. She confronted her husband about this who denied it. After some thought it became clear to our client that it was highly possible that this girl had been telling the truth as our client had been experiencing gynaecological problems which seemed to have started approximately a year go.

As her husband had completely denied this allegation and was desperate to prove this in some way our client asked for our help. The best course of action would be if her husband agreed to take a lie detector test to prove his innocence which of course he did. We sent a fully qualified polygraph technician to their home where he conducted the test using questions agreed by the wife.

Our client was very relieved to see from the results that her husband had indeed been telling the truth and had no idea who or why this girl had made such an accusation and luckily they were able to move on from such an unfortunate incident.
