A wife phoned Detective Reading as money kept going missing from out of her savings that she kept hidden and no one knew about it including her husband. She told us that when she asked her husband if he found any money lying around he got all defencive and grumpy. She had been saving the money for a long time and it was to go towards redecorating the house and a new sofa.

We told the client that we could help the client out by installing convert cameras around her home to capture the culprit on film. Not all the money was missing but at least ?150.00 had been taken. She thought the covert cameras were a great idea.

Once we sorted thought the video footage we found that the husband had taken our clients money. She thanked us for our help and confronted her husband and demand the return of the money. He told her he had taken the money to buy her a gift but she did not let him off. He paid the money back in the end but they are not getting on very well now as she feels that she can’t trust him.
