We recently had an interesting case involving a woman and her estranged husband. She called Private Detective Reading and seemed more angry than upset. She explained how her husband was living with her but she neither invited him to live there nor wanted him there but was finding it very hard to get him to leave. About two years ago she had immigrated to New Zealand with their child as he had committed adultery and she was very angry with him.
However it had not worked out as well as she thought in New Zealand as most of
her business had become more UK-based and it was more cost effective for her to
return to the UK. She had been made aware of the fantastic plot of land that
was becoming available in the centre of the town she used to live in. With her
contacts in the UK she had managed to purchase the land and get the necessary
planning permission to build a new home. She has used the company that was very
reputable to undertake this opportunity.Unfortunately what she did not know with this company had unknowingly hired her husband to undertake most of the overseeing of the project. He knew all along that it was his wife who was the client then he
decided to take full benefit of this knowledge. Once the house had enough
facilities for him to live there he moved in. Our clients had even given the
task of collecting her furniture and other belongings from the docks and move
them into her new home. This of course meant that her husband would be doing
this for her and she did not know.

On their arrival back to the UK our client and her child
were collected from the airport by her husband. This is a complete shock for
her and the shocks kept coming. He announced that he was living at the property
and he was going to stay there and be a proper husband and father to them both.
She of course did not want this as he had been the wrongdoer in their
relationship. He said that he had made a beautiful house for them and have made
amends and thought that they should give it another go. She has been trying to
get rid of him ever since but to no avail.

She claims the only way that she can get rid of him was to
find out what dodgy dealings he has been up to. She felt sure that when he
looked after the child that he left her alone and also he had quite often
invited strangers back to the house at the end of the evening of the pub. She
had been seeing her solicitor and the solicitor suggested her phoning us civic
provide some surveillance in order to prove suspicions.

The first session took place on the day when he was supposed
to be looking after the child he didn’t leave her alone for one moment in fact
they had a lovely day together. The second surveillance session was a little
different he was not looking after the child he was out at the pub. He was in
and out of the backdoor with lots of different people and he was drinking quite
heavily. Well after last orders he invited everybody that was left in the pub
back to the house. He was totally out of control and the party was very loud so
loud that the next neighbour complained.

From this evidence our client decided that she would give it
a go getting rid of him the good. She has called us after a few months and told
us he is out of their life ever.
