A woman called Detectives Reading after splitting up from her boyfriend who she explained to us was a very paranoid technological expert. She believed that he was monitoring her mobile telephone activity as he had previously told her that he had done the same to a woman that he was in a previous relationship with.

We explained to her that in order to set her mind at rest we should conduct a forensic sweep of her mobile telephone handset to identify and remove any monitoring hardware or software that he may have had placed upon it. This could be done by our technical experts in just a few days after which the handset would be returned to her unharmed.

She sent us the handset and it was examined extensively and was found much to her relief that it was free of anything recording her activity. She was grateful that she could now relax knowing that she was perhaps just being a little paranoid herself after having been in his company for too long.
