A call came in to Detective Agency Reading from a man who was suspicious that his estranged wife was seeing somebody else. She was due to go to stay at her mother’s for the weekend but he has secretly been able to monitor her face book and she seems to be on very friendly terms with one particular friend. He has also found an email confirming a delivery to her mother’s address from a very well known lingerie store.

He would like our help in establishing her fidelity in terms of his peace of mind. We consulted our client at length and decided that we could instigate surveillance on his estranged wife over the weekend of her visit to her mother’s. Surveillance was commenced from the address of her mother and our covert operative was able to observe her arrival early afternoon. She let herself in and left two hours later with a holdall. She was followed to an address 50 miles away where she remained for an hour and a half. She left this address in her car and was closely followed by a male in another car. They dropped her car at her mother’s home and they both drove off to the city centre in one car. Our operative lost sight of the Target at this point and returned to the mother’s address where he waited. Our Target did not return until later the following day when she was dropped off by the unknown male. At this point our operative was able to photograph them kissing goodbye in the front of the male’s car.

Our client was glad to find out finally what he had suspected all along. His wife admitted that she had been having an affair and was equally glad that it was out in the open. She had not wanted him to find out to save his feelings.
