A woman came to us with the suspicion that her husband was having an affair with another woman. She contacted us at Reading Private Investigator after discovering a receipt for a meal for two from two nights previously in the pocket of her husband’s jacket when she was doing the laundry. The client had been told by her partner that he was in the office on this night and as she had not been told anything about this dinner out she became suspicious that he was trying to hide something and asked us to investigate.

The investigation began with a consultation between the client and a member of our operative team who discussed the reasons for the client’s suspicions and agreed that the best way to proceed with the case would be to use surveillance in a period outlined by the client. Once the time that the individual would most likely be seeing someone else was identified the surveillance began and quickly identified the individual entering the same restaurant where he met a young woman who the client was able to identify as her husband’s colleague.

We presented the client with a full report of the findings of the case which included both video and photographic evidence of her husband interacting with the woman identified as his colleague. Following the investigation the client separated from her husband after confronting him on the affair and the deceit surrounding it and is now embarking on a new relationship and is very happy with her new partner.
